The Springhouse is the focal cottage of Tanyard Springs. It is a restored historical building once used to bottle the purest spring water in the world. You approach this one-level, rock cottage by walking down a stone path and crossing a small footbridge over the flowing Tanyard Spring. Throughout this cottage you will find many custom made furnishings including a bed that features a heart shaped bent-limb headboard and an antique oak desk. There are many historic documents displayed on the walls, dating back to the 1800's. In the bathroom you will be pleased to discover both a shower and an old fashioned bath tub. Outside, just a few steps away from the stone patio, you can relax in the swing, alongside the peaceful Tanyard Pond.
